Install instructions

🪟 For Windows: 

  1. Download the file: Albert_Blast_Windows.zip
  2. Right-click the .zip file and select Extract All
  3. Open the extracted folder
  4. Double-click alien_invasion.exe to launch the game
  5. If you see a Windows Defender warning, click "More info" > "Run anyway"
    (This happens because it’s an unsigned indie app, but it’s safe! Promise!)

🍎 For MacOS: 

  1. Download the file: Albert_Blast_Mac.zip
  2. Double-click to unzip the .zip file
  3. Open the folder, then:
    • Right-click the alien_invasion app
    • Choose "Open", then "Open" again when warned (only needed the first time)
  4. The game should launch!
If you get a message that it’s from an “unidentified developer,” don’t worry!
Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, and click "Open Anyway".

  • No installation needed — just unzip and play!

  • If the game doesn’t run, try checking permissions or re-downloading
